brewvana partners with Prairieland Yoga on happy hour yoga series
We had a good blend of beginners and experienced yogis in the house, as well as a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Everyone brought a bottle to share, as well as a snack, and after the class we had a pleasant social scene to work our way through everything from hummus and fresh veggies to cookies and dark chocolate.
For my part, I brought New Glarus’ Wisconsin Red and Ska’s Saison Du’rango. The former has the renowned cherry love that works like black magic with chocolate, while the latter proved to be a great pair with sugar cookies. Beerwise, there was also a bottle of Klein Duimpje’s Imperial Russian Stout, which was good, albeit restrained and under-carbonated. I’d call it an imperial mild.
If you’ve though about yoga and needed the perfect ice breaker, this might be the class for you. I’ll try to, at the very least, tweet the dates as they are scheduled so you can consider working your way to the land of brewvana for a class and a brew or two.
