Drinking beer for historic preservation

If you’re within hollering distance, I’d like to invite you to join us for a fundraiser we’re doing on May 22–it’s a Founders-esque beer breakfast to raise money toward the restoration of Corning, Iowa’s historic Opera House:

We’ll definitely have six beers rolling, with the possibility of seven or eight before it’s all said and done.

Confirmed beers:

Ludwig von Dunkel (mine)

ReinheitsgeNOT Coconut Schwarz (mine)

Jennings Farm Mild (mine)

Saison de Kyle (my bro-in-law Kyle)

Groves Chill Tonic Chocolate Stout (my boss, Don)

Jimmy’s Imperial Stout (Jimmy)

Maybes include my regular schwarzbier (Schwarz Van Wyk), another saison brewed by Goldy, and one or two others if I ever run across  Monte to hit him up for a contribution.

More info on the Corning Opera House at the website or on Facebook.
