Wasn’t it just my last (long ago) post that I was noting her Geek-by-Osmosis-ness? Not only does she return with Flossmoor’s Pullman Brown, Founder’s Breakfast Stout and Dogfish Head’s Chateau Jiahu, she also returns with a Rock Bottom beer mat scribbled with the notes that she took on their bourbon barrel-aged raspberry imperial stout (I think that’s what she said).
She also returned aghast at the beer lists in a couple of restaurants (“I wasn’t going to waste myself in there.”) And appalled that the dude working the Whole Foods beer aisle hadn’t heard of Floosmoor Station.
Hopefully Michelle’s companions weren’t too put off at her drive to have better flavors in her mouth. And her drive to bring some of it back for me. She’s a wonderful (increasingly geeky) beer wife, after all. And that’s what they do.
